Elizabeth Guerra, 2008 FSF Scholar, Auburn University

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production Management Degree, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French Degree from Auburn University. She was honored as a recipient of the Fashion Scholarship Fund Award in 2008 and credits the FSF scholarship with playing a major role in her success.

Currently serving as the Global Director of Client Experience at Tiffany & Co. in New York City, Elizabeth spearheads the global client event strategy across all zones, focusing on enhancing client engagement, event innovation and commercial sales. Her responsibilities include providing support to zones for enhancing client connection through events, jewelry event ideation, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to optimize daily clienteling efforts.

Prior to her role at Tiffany & Co., Elizabeth held the position of Head of Events for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Louis Vuitton, based in Paris, France. In this capacity, she orchestrated the client event strategy for the Zone with over 100 stores, overseeing bespoke event design, implementation, and management. Her adeptness in cross-functional project management and her commitment to coaching and developing regional teams led to notable improvements in client event programs.

Elizabeth's journey in luxury client relations began at Louis Vuitton Americas, where she served as the Regional Events Manager for the Southeast region, based in Miami, Florida. During her tenure, she managed client event strategies for the Southeast, focusing on event design, hospitality and client hosting, while also providing comprehensive training to retail leaders on clienteling strategies.

With a strong foundation in luxury retail, Elizabeth's career trajectory includes diverse roles such as Store and Training Manager at J. McLaughlin and as a Client Advisor for the Louis Vuitton Nashville boutique. Her passion for client-centric experiences and her dedication to excellence have earned her recognition, including the Fashion Scholarship Fund recipient and leadership roles in the National French Honor Society during her academic years at Auburn University. Fluent in both French and English, she leverages her linguistic skills to foster global connections and enhance client experiences across diverse markets.

Elizabeth is deeply grateful for the confidence that winning the FSF award gave her at the very start of her career. “Winning a FSF scholarship gave me the confidence to believe that I really could make something of myself in this industry. That I have what it took. Because of FSF, I was able to gain exposure to incredible companies and mentors. Holding this kind of award in our industry comes with great respect and esteem. It also gives way to an immense amount of networking and mentorship opportunities. For example, I have now been with LVMH for 15 years, and they also happen to be a supporter of FSF. For any students interested in a career in the luxury fashion industry being a part of the FSF community is a game changer!”
